More Details on Our Top Picks
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar
This advent calendar stands out for offering 24 tiny, holiday-themed plush toys, making it an excellent choice for those who enjoy daily surprises during the Christmas season. Compared to the larger Micromallows like the Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar, this smaller set emphasizes a festive countdown rather than display or cuddling, which may limit appeal for those seeking larger plush comfort. Its compact size makes it easy to display or gift, but it’s inherently less suitable for kids who prefer bigger, cuddly plush. The collectible nature adds charm for fans of Squishmallows, especially during the holiday season. However, its limited to holiday-themed toys and small size might disappoint collectors seeking more versatility or larger plush.
Pros:- Includes 24 collectible holiday-themed plush toys
- Compact size allows for easy display or gifting
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small 2.5-inch plush toys, less cuddly
- Seasonal only, not suitable year-round
Best for: Collectors and families wanting a fun, festive countdown experience
Not ideal for: Children or plush enthusiasts seeking larger, more cuddly toys for everyday play
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Plush Toys:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“This set is perfect for holiday countdown fans and collectors who enjoy small, themed plush surprises.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman Holiday Plush
This 10-inch Ignacio Snowman Squishmallow excels at providing soft, comforting hugs, making it ideal for children and plush collectors who prioritize cuddly toys. Its friendly snowman design is especially appealing during winter holidays, but compared to larger options like the Squishmallows 14” Holiday Fox, it may feel small for those who want a more substantial plush for display or extended cuddling. The plush’s softness and friendly character make it a favorite for gifting and imaginative play, yet it requires gentle care to maintain its plushness over time. Its size limits its appeal for those seeking a plush mainly for decoration or larger plush collectors.
Pros:- Super soft and cuddly for hugging
- Adorable snowman design perfect for the holidays
- Suitable for ages 3 and up
Cons:- Limited to a 10-inch size, less impressive for display
- Requires gentle cleaning to preserve softness
Best for: Parents and kids who want a soft, holiday-themed plush for cuddling and gifting
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger or more detailed plush toys for display purposes
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Snowman
- Age Range:3 years and up
- Manufacturer:Jazwares
Our verdict“This plush offers cozy holiday comfort, especially for kids and those who love small, cuddly snowmen.”
Squishmallows Holiday Fox 14” Plush
This 14-inch Holiday Fox plush stands out for its high-quality, ultra-soft material and unique personality, making it a favorite for collectors who value detailed, high-end plush. Compared with the Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman, this plush is larger and more suited for display or as a cuddly decoration. Its detailed design and bio add a layer of collectibility, but limited information on size specifics and no explicit holiday theme might make it less appealing to those seeking a dedicated seasonal plush. It’s ideal for display or gifting but less portable for everyday cuddling or travel.
Pros:- Ultra-soft, high-quality material
- Unique name and bio for each plush
- Official Squishmallows product
Cons:- Limited size details and features provided
- Higher price point may deter budget-conscious buyers
Best for: Dedicated plush collectors and fans of high-quality holiday decor
Not ideal for: Young children or casual plush fans looking for smaller or more affordable options
Our verdict“This plush is perfect for collectors wanting a detailed, high-quality holiday addition for display.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This 4-pack offers a variety of holiday characters, including Maritza the Cactus and Tinsley the Peppermint Latte, making it a versatile gift set. Its soft, high-quality plush ensures each character is cuddly and appealing, but compared to larger individual plush like the Squishmallows 14” Holiday Fox, the smaller 8-inch size might not satisfy those wanting more substantial plush for cuddling or display. The set’s exclusivity to Amazon and limited to holiday characters means it’s less versatile for year-round use or non-seasonal gifting. Nonetheless, it’s a solid choice for those wanting multiple characters in a single purchase.
Pros:- Soft, high-quality plush material
- Includes four distinct characters with bios
- Official Jazwares product, exclusive to Amazon
Cons:- Limited to small 8-inch size, less cuddly for extended hugging
- Only available during the holiday season
Best for: Gift givers and collectors looking for a variety of holiday-themed plush in one package
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger, more cuddly plush toys for daily use or long-term display
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Maritza, Stevon, Clayton, Tinsley
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Theme:Holiday
Our verdict“This set is an excellent choice for holiday gift-givers wanting a variety of festive plush characters.”
Squishmallows Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar features 24 miniature 2.5-inch Micromallows, offering a festive countdown with iconic characters like Brooke the Polar Bear. It provides a similar experience to the Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar, but focuses solely on tiny plush toys. While its small size is ideal for display or gifting in limited space, it may not appeal to those wanting larger, more cuddly plush toys for hugging or decoration. The seasonal exclusivity and tiny size make it perfect for collectors who value the thrill of daily surprises but less so for fans seeking plush for play or display.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed tiny plush toys
- Compact size for display or gift-giving
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
Cons:- Limited to small 2.5-inch plush toys, less cuddly
- Seasonal only, not for year-round display
Best for: Holiday countdown fans and collectors who enjoy small, festive plush surprises
Not ideal for: Children seeking larger plush toys or those wanting versatile, all-year plush
- Size:2.5 inches
- Number of Items:24
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Ideal for holiday countdown collectors who enjoy tiny plush surprises and festive cheer.”
Squishmallows 14in Nick the Santa Claus Plush
This 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus plush stands out for its playful design, featuring Santa in a Hawaiian shirt, which adds a fun twist to traditional holiday plush toys. Compared to the smaller Fleur the Yule Log, Nick offers a larger, more huggable size that appeals to kids and collectors seeking a standout holiday display piece. Its ultrasoft, high-quality material guarantees cozy cuddles, making it ideal for holiday snuggling. However, its limited appeal to only Santa or holiday fans narrows its audience. For those who want a festive plush with a unique personality, Nick delivers a charming option with a slight tradeoff in versatility for year-round use.
Pros:- Large, cuddly 14-inch size perfect for hugging and display
- Unique Santa in a Hawaiian shirt adds playful charm
- Made with ultrasoft, high-quality material for cozy cuddles
- Official Squishmallows collectible, adding value
Cons:- Limited appeal to only holiday or Santa-themed plush fans
- Size may be less versatile for smaller spaces or younger children
Best for: Families looking for a distinctive Santa plush to enhance holiday décor and gift exchanges.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking a versatile, year-round plush that isn’t holiday-specific or Santa-themed.
- Size:14 inches
- Character:Nick the Santa Claus
- Material:Ultrasoft high-quality material
- Brand:Squishmallows
Our verdict“This plush is ideal for collectors or families wanting a fun, festive Santa to celebrate the season.”
Squishmallows Original Harvest 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Amazon Exclusive)
This exclusive 4-pack offers a delightful assortment of characters—Ulana the Turkey, River the Blue Beaver, Rhett the French Bulldog, and Alberta the Maple Latte—each made with ultrasoft plush material. Compared with the smaller Fleur the Yule Log, this set provides a broader variety of characters, making it more appealing for collectors or kids who enjoy character diversity. The bundle’s exclusivity on Amazon boosts its value, but the smaller size (typically around 8 inches) limits its impact as a display piece. It’s an excellent choice for those wanting a mix of holiday-themed plushes, though its availability might restrict accessibility for some shoppers. Overall, this pack makes holiday gifting and collection-building straightforward and fun.
Pros:- Includes four distinct, adorable characters with unique personalities
- High-quality ultrasoft plush for cuddling and play
- Exclusive Amazon bundle offers good value for multiple plushes
- Great for holiday gifting or expanding a Squishmallows collection
Cons:- Limited to smaller size, which may not satisfy those seeking larger plush toys
- Availability limited to Amazon could restrict purchase options
Best for: Parents and collectors seeking a variety of holiday plush characters in one bundle.
Not ideal for: Buyers looking for larger plush toys or items that can serve as primary holiday décor.
- Includes:4 plush characters
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Exclusive:Amazon exclusive
- Characters:Ulana, River, Rhett, Alberta
Our verdict“Ideal for collectors or families who want a varied holiday plush set at a good value.”
Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Advent Calendar
This advent calendar features 24 tiny 2.5-inch Micromallows, including holiday favorites like Nick Santa and Manny Snowman, making it perfect for building excitement through December. Compared with the Fleur Yule Log or Cam Cat plush, the Micromallows’ small size emphasizes collectibility and daily surprise, appealing especially to kids and holiday enthusiasts. While the compact size is ideal for holiday countdowns or stocking stuffers, it limits the use as a cuddly plush toy for snuggling. It’s a seasonal item that offers a fun, interactive way to celebrate, but its holiday-specific theme and tiny scale restrict year-round appeal. For holiday fans seeking daily surprises, this makes a festive, compact choice.
Pros:- Includes 24 holiday-themed Micromallows for daily unboxing
- Official Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Compact size makes it easy to gift or display
- Enhances holiday excitement with daily surprises
Cons:- Very small size, limiting cuddling potential
- Limited appeal outside the holiday season or to those unfamiliar with Squishmallows
Best for: Parents or gift-givers wanting a fun, daily holiday activity for kids that doubles as a collectible plush set.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking larger plush toys or non-seasonal décor for year-round use.
- Size:2.5 inches
- Includes:24 Micromallows plush toys
- Theme:Holiday/Christmas
Our verdict“Great for holiday countdowns and gift-giving, though less suitable as a cuddly plush for everyday use.”
Squishmallows 8in Fleur The Yule Log Plush
Fleur the Yule Log offers a charming, compact 8-inch plush that’s perfect for holiday tabletop displays or smaller spaces. In comparison to larger plushes like Nick the Santa or Cam Cat, Fleur’s small size makes her a versatile seasonal accent rather than a main cuddly toy. Her high-quality, ultrasoft fabric ensures a cozy touch, and her festive design adds a cozy holiday vibe. However, her size might feel limiting for children wanting a larger plush to snuggle, and her holiday-specific theme confines her use to the season. This plush is best suited for those who want a cute, festive decoration that doubles as a collectible, but less so as a year-round plush companion.
Pros:- Compact 8-inch size fits well on shelves or tables
- Unique Yule Log design with festive appeal
- Soft, plush texture perfect for cozy holiday snuggles
- Official Squishmallows product with a sense of authenticity
Cons:- Size may be too small for some children or plush collectors
- Limited use outside the holiday season
Best for: Holiday decorators or collectors seeking a small, cute Yule Log plush for seasonal décor.
Not ideal for: Parents wanting a larger, cuddly plush for everyday play or children who prefer bigger toys.
- Size:8 inches
- Material:Ultrasoft, high-quality fabric
- Theme:Holiday/Yule Log
Our verdict“A delightful small holiday-themed plush ideal for seasonal décor and collection.”
Squishmallows 10-Inch Cam Cat Plush
The 10-inch Cam Cat Squishmallow is a soft, cuddly favorite for travel and on-the-go fun. Compared with Fleur the Yule Log, Cam Cat’s classic design and versatile size make him a go-to for everyday cuddling, sleepovers, or trips. His ultrasoft plush fabric guarantees comfort during long car rides or sleepouts, and his simple, appealing design suits a wide range of tastes. However, his single-character focus might limit appeal for collectors seeking a variety of characters, and some may find 10 inches too small for display or larger cuddles. Overall, this plush makes a practical gift for kids and travelers, though it doesn’t offer the diversity of larger or more elaborate plush sets.
Pros:- Soft, cuddly 10-inch size perfect for travel
- Simple, appealing design suitable for all ages
- High-quality plush fabric for comfort and durability
- Great for snuggling and portable enough for everyday use
Cons:- Limited to one character style, reducing variety
- Size may be too small for display-focused collectors
Best for: Parents or travelers wanting a cozy, portable plush for cuddling during trips or sleepovers.
Not ideal for: Buyers seeking large plush toys for display or plush sets with multiple characters.
- Size:10 inches
- Character:Cam Cat
- Brand:Jazwares
Our verdict“An excellent travel and snuggling plush for kids and on-the-go use, with some limitations in character variety.”
Squishmallows 12in Hedda The Milk for Santa Plush
This 12-inch Hedda plush stands out for its ultrasoft material that makes it ideal for cuddling, especially compared to larger plush like the 14-inch Nick the Santa Claus. Its compact size makes it perfect for kids or collectors who want a sweet, portable holiday companion, though it may feel limited for those seeking a display-worthy or larger plush. The authentic Squishmallows seal guarantees quality, and the unique bio adds charm, but fans of bigger plush might find Hedda too small for their collection. Its soft texture and official branding make it a reliable gift for those who cherish plush toys, but it isn’t designed for heavy-duty play or display as a centerpiece.
Pros:- Soft, ultrasoft material offers a cozy feel perfect for hugging
- Unique name and bio add personality and collectibility
- Official licensed Squishmallows product with authentic seal
- Compact size makes it ideal for gifting or travel
Cons:- Limited size may disappoint collectors seeking larger plush
- Not suitable for heavy or rough play due to its softness
Best for: Kids and collectors who want a high-quality, cuddly holiday plush that fits easily into small spaces or gift bags.
Not ideal for: Collectors seeking larger or more display-oriented plush, or those wanting a plush with more durability for rough handling.
- Brand:Squishmallows
- Toy Type:Stuffed Toy
- Character:Hedda
- Model Name:Style 1
- Unit Count:1
- Age Range:Kid
Our verdict“This pick makes the most sense for those seeking a cute, cuddly, and authentic holiday plush that’s easy to gift or carry around.”
Squishmallows Original Holiday 4-Pack – Official Jazwares Plush (Little)
This festive 4-pack offers a colorful mix of holiday characters—Ingred the Purple Cow, Omar the Santa Bear, Marilyn the Green Pickle Ornament, and Luna the Penguin—making it stand out for variety compared to the single-character Hedda. It’s ideal for those who want a small squad of holiday-themed plush, especially for gifting multiple children or creating a seasonal display. However, the lack of size details means it’s unclear whether these are small enough for stocking stuffers or larger decorations. The plush are ultrasoft, adding to their appeal, but the focus on holiday characters limits year-round versatility. Compared to the 12-inch Hedda, these plush are more about festive variety than cuddly companionship, which is perfect for holiday collectors but less so for those seeking a single, heirloom-quality piece.
Pros:- Includes four different festive characters for variety
- Soft plush material enhances cuddly appeal
- Official Jazwares product ensures quality and authenticity
- Great for holiday gifting and seasonal decor
Cons:- Limited to holiday-themed characters, reducing year-round use
- No size info makes it hard to determine suitability for certain uses
Best for: Families or collectors looking to gift or decorate with a set of holiday plush, or those wanting a variety of characters for seasonal fun.
Not ideal for: Buyers wanting larger plush for display or plush toys intended for durable, everyday play outside the holiday season.
- Material:Ultrasoft plush
- Includes:4 Squishmallows
- Characters:Ingred, Omar, Marilyn, Luna
Our verdict“This set makes a smart choice for holiday gifting or creating a festive plush collection, especially for those who enjoy variety over size.”
How We Picked
The products in this roundup were selected based on their holiday appeal, overall quality, and popularity among fans. Each item was evaluated for its craftsmanship, size options, and thematic relevance to the holiday season. We also considered value for money, uniqueness, and how well the plush fits into holiday traditions or collections. The ranking reflects a combination of these factors, prioritizing plushes that balance festive charm with durability and broad appeal. Items with limited editions or exclusive packs were included for their collector potential, while standard plushes were judged on their emotional and gift-giving value.Factors to Consider When Choosing Squishmallows Holiday List
When choosing a squishmallows holiday item, it’s important to consider several factors that influence both their appeal and practicality. Size is key—smaller plushes are easier to gift or use as stocking stuffers, while larger ones work well as decor or cuddly companions. Themed packs and advent calendars add a seasonal touch, but often come at a higher price point. Durability and fabric quality matter if the plush is intended for frequent cuddling or children’s use. Budget also plays a role; balancing cost with the desired level of collectibility or display is crucial. Finally, consider how well the plush fits into your holiday traditions or collection goals, whether as a gift, decoration, or personal keepsake.Size and Portability
Size impacts how versatile the plush will be during the holidays. Smaller options, like 8-10 inches, fit comfortably in stockings or as table decor, while larger plushes are more suitable as room accents or cuddly gifts. Consider where the plush will be used most often and whether portability or display presence matters more for your needs. Keep in mind that larger plushes tend to be more expensive and require more storage space, so choose based on your available room and intended use.
Theme and Design
Holiday-themed designs are the main attraction, but not all are equally versatile. Some plushes feature classic Christmas motifs like Santa or snowmen, ideal for seasonal decorations. Others have more playful or neutral designs, making them suitable for year-round cuddles. Themed packs and advent calendars offer added value for family traditions, but can be more costly. Think about whether you want a plush that’s purely festive or one that can double as a year-round favorite.
Material and Durability
Quality fabric and stitching ensure your holiday plushes hold up through multiple seasons of cuddling and display. Plushes with soft, plush fabrics are inviting but can be prone to wear if not well-made. Advent calendars and plush sets often involve multiple pieces, so durability across the set is essential. If you plan to gift or have young children involved, look for plushes with reinforced seams and non-toxic materials for safety and longevity.
Price and Value
Budget options are plentiful, but they may sacrifice some quality or detail. Premium plushes, especially limited editions or themed collections, command higher prices but can become collector’s items. Consider whether the plush’s design and size justify the cost, or if a simpler, more affordable option will serve your needs. Bundles like multi-packs or advent calendars often provide better overall value for holiday gifting or decorating on a budget.
Versatility and Use Cases
Some plushes are best suited for cuddling, while others excel as holiday decor or gifts. Think about your main purpose—are you decorating a space, looking for a gift, or building a collection? Plushes with neutral or classic designs can be reused beyond the holiday season, adding long-term value. Advent calendars, while festive, are seasonal and best for families who enjoy countdown traditions. Matching the plush’s design and function to your holiday plans will ensure satisfaction.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Squishmallows suitable for young children during the holidays?
Yes, Squishmallows are generally safe for young children, thanks to their soft fabrics and rounded shapes. However, always check the specific product for any small parts or features that could pose a choking hazard. During the holidays, their plush and festive designs make them popular gifts for kids, and their durability means they can withstand frequent cuddling. Just ensure the plush is labeled as suitable for your child’s age and inspect it regularly for wear.
Should I choose a themed advent calendar or a single plush for holiday gifting?
Choosing between an advent calendar and a single plush depends on your gifting style and budget. Advent calendars offer daily surprises, making them perfect for families or collectors who enjoy countdown traditions. Single plushes, on the other hand, provide an instant gift that’s easier to give and receive. If you want to create a memorable holiday experience, the advent calendar adds a layer of excitement, but for simplicity or smaller budgets, a well-chosen plush can be just as meaningful.
Is size important when selecting a holiday Squishmallow?
Size plays a significant role in how you’ll use the plush. Smaller sizes are more portable and fit easily into stockings or gift bags, making them ideal for gifts or decor. Larger sizes, like 14 or 16 inches, serve better as room decorations or cuddly companions. Think about where the plush will be displayed or used most often and balance that with your storage capacity and budget. Larger plushes usually come at a higher price but offer more visual impact.
Are limited edition holiday Squishmallows worth the extra cost?
Limited edition holiday Squishmallows can be a worthwhile investment if you’re a collector or want a unique piece for your holiday decor. They often feature exclusive designs and higher-quality detailing. However, they tend to be more expensive and may not be suitable if your primary goal is functional gifting or casual cuddling. Consider your budget and whether owning a rare item aligns with your holiday goals before investing in limited editions.
How can I tell if a Squishmallow will hold up over multiple holiday seasons?
Check the quality of materials and stitching, especially around seams and plush features. Higher-quality plushes typically have reinforced stitching and durable fabrics that resist wear and tear. Reading reviews can also provide insight into how well a plush holds up over time. For seasonal use, select plushes with sturdy construction and non-toxic, washable fabrics to ensure they remain festive and safe for years to come.
Conclusion
For families seeking a festive countdown, the Squishmallows Original 24-Day Micromallows Holiday Plush Advent Calendar offers a fun, interactive experience. Those looking for a versatile gift that doubles as decor might prefer the Squishmallows 10-Inch Ignacio Snowman, which combines size and holiday charm. For collectors or those wanting a premium piece, limited edition or themed multi-packs present a worthwhile investment. Beginners or casual shoppers should focus on smaller, affordable plushes, while enthusiasts can explore exclusive or larger options to enhance their holiday collection. Ultimately, your choice depends on how you plan to enjoy and display your squishmallows this season.
